Dog behavior consultation/coaching is provided by Anna Christina Frahm, Kuhnkestrasse 6, 24118 Kiel. She holds a permit in accordance with Section 11 of the Animal Welfare Act (certified and qualified dog behavior consultant and trainer, Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons).

 

§1 Subject of the Contract

The services include individual and group training, dog care, workshops, seminars, and lectures. The aim is to empower owners to train their dogs expertly and to strengthen the relationship between dog and owner based on trust and mutual respect.

 

§2 Basic requirements

The dog owner confirms that their dog is vaccinated or fully immunized, registered, and covered by liability insurance. The dog must be free of contagious diseases; any chronic illnesses must be disclosed during the initial consultation. The owner must inform the trainer of any behavioral issues such as increased aggression or anxiety before the first session or care arrangement.

 

§3 Payment

A training session lasts 90-120 minutes (follow-up appointments are 60 minutes, group sessions are 3 hours) and is scheduled according to the agreement with the dog owner. If the owner is late, the session will be shortened, and no refund will be given. The fee for individual sessions is payable in cash or via PayPal at the time of the appointment. All prices are final. My business is registered as a small business according to § 19 Abs. 1 UStG (German VAT Act) and therefore no VAT is charged.

If the customer defaults on payment, I reserve the right to charge default interest at the statutory rate (§ 288 BGB) as well as a flat-rate reminder fee of €5.00 per reminder. From the second payment reminder onwards, this reminder fee can be claimed in addition to the outstanding amount.

In case of further payment default, legal dunning proceedings or a debt collection agency may be commissioned. The debtor shall bear the associated costs.

 

§4 Cancellation of individual training sessions

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance – by phone at 0156/79015436, via WhatsApp (no SMS), or email. For cancellations made at short notice, the full fee is still payable if the owner is responsible and the appointment cannot be filled by someone else.

 

§5 Course cancellation by the dog owner

If a dog owner prematurely terminates a booked course, no refund will be issued. This does not apply if the reason for the termination is beyond the owner's control.

 

§6 Liability of the dog trainer and the dog owner

The dog trainer is only liable for intentional or grossly negligent conduct. The trainer assumes no liability for damages to persons, property, or assets arising from the training, the exercises demonstrated, or walks – nor for damages caused by participating dogs. The dog owner is responsible for informing their companions of this disclaimer. Participation in the training is always at the owner's own risk. The dog owner is liable for all damages caused by them and their dog and indemnifies the dog trainer against any third-party claims.

 

§7 Guarantee of Success

Success cannot be guaranteed, as it depends significantly on the active cooperation of the owner and the dog itself.

 

The dog owner confirms that they have read and understood the terms and conditions.
